Each Center cares for diverse inner-city populations. They have programs that meet the needs of particular populations; for example Erie serves primarily Hispanics, Near North serves primarily African Americans, HHO serves primarily homeless people and refugees, and Howard Brown serves primarily the GLBT population (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender).
Since its inception in 1997, the Alliance has enabled the Centers to share resources and integrate services to more efficiently and effectively deliver accessible, quality health care. The Alliance allows the Centers to achieve efficiencies of scale, address common programmatic concerns, and access higher levels of technology and expertise than would be available to the individual clinics.
Welcome to the Alliance of Chicago Community Health Services.
Headquartered on Chicago's north side and serving clients throughout Chicagoland, the Alliance is a network of four community health centers serving primarily low-income and uninsured patients with multiple, complex needs.
