Committment to Community-Driven Research

Alliance is committed to community-driven research that directly benefits the populations it serves. Alliance has productive, ongoing relationships with health centers, academic partners, health departments, and other community organizations. Given the robust Electronic Health Record System (EHRS) and customized data warehouse, Alliance is well poised to carry out large, meaningful projects across its national EHRS User Community.  To cultivate a community-driven research agenda, Alliance has developed an infrastructure linking diverse urban and rural community sites through a common technology platform to carry out research projects. Alliance research priorities were developed in collaboration with our community health centers and stakeholders and include the following:

  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Health Disparities
  • Social Determinants of Health
  • Diabetes
  • Behavioral/Mental Health
